How long does it take to get muscle on a vegetarian diet?

I am a vegetarian in seek of a better body, I'm currently 16 and believe it'll give me more confidence in life if I loose weight and get a bit of muscle. I have tried exercising numerous times, but I never stick to it... Do you have any routines, and whats a good vegetarian diet, and I don't eat fish? Please answer, thanks :)How long does it take to get muscle on a vegetarian diet?
You need to incorporate some protein into your diet. Try eating pulses and grains (e.g. beans/legumes and rice/carbs). That will provide you with a basic protein diet. Also try taking protein shakes, maybe whey protein alongside your meals. How long does it take to get muscle on a vegetarian diet?
first of all you will have to use alot of supplements! creatine (found in red meats) and protiens (founds in meats) amino acids (again in meat)! so you'll have to budget that into your workout! the other thing is CONSISTANCY! IF your not consistant NOTHING will work! fat people (most not all) got fat because they CONSISTATLY ate more calories than they burned! you should intake about 1.5 to 2 grams of protien per pound of body weight! your carbs should be around the same if not a bit less (if your trying to lose weight) and intake a multi amino acid in pill form!
