What are some benefits to a vegetarian diet?

Well one of the health benefits is you don't get all the chemicals and hormones, etc. that are given to/fed to farm animals and then passed on to us in the meat. Other than that it depends if you eat healthier, ie. more vegetables, fruits, whole natural grains, etc. or if you just give up meat and eat processed junk food.What are some benefits to a vegetarian diet?

There are plenty of health benefits of being a vegetarian, as long as you do it right. You can decrease your risk of heart diseases and different cancers. May I ask you why you don't want to eat meat? Is it for health reasons, or the animal reasons?
