Probably not - lean meat has a lower NET calorie value than most anything else.Since your body works to digest food, it actually uses calories for digestion - how many calories are in the food less how many calories are required for digestion are the 'net' calories provided by the food.Will going on a vegetarian diet help me lose weight?
a great diet that i would recommend is the cabbage soup diet. it is all fruits and veggies with one meal with meat for a little bit of protein but you could always substitute the meat for veggies high in protein
