I am a vegetarian, willing to lose 6 pounds with a diet, I麓m not looking for guidelines but for a specific diet, hopefully within a period of time.Vegetarian diet?
Here are a few healthy, easy and vegetarian recipes.
The best way to loose wait it to cut out butter, sugar, starch, completely. Even those fat free items are not good.
All those diets out there are unhealthy. If you cook everything you eat with fresh products, you'll do great
TOMATOES PROVENCALES (fast %26amp; easy) :
Cut the tomatoes in half.
Put a touch of olive oil, salt, pepper and crushed garlic, shredded parsley and
bread crumb (the thin kind) on top of each pieces of tomatoes.
Put in the oven at 400掳 but careful that the tomatoes remain firm and don't overcooked.
RATATOUILLE (for 6 people) :
4 zucchinis
4 bell peppers of different colors
3 eggplants
2 big onions (sliced)
5 crushed garlic cloves
thyme %26amp; bay leaves
1 cup of olive oil
2 big cans of whole peeled tomatoes
salt %26amp; pepper
Diced the vegetables (all of them), not too thick and not thin.
In a pot, put the butter, the sliced onion, crushed garlic.
When the onions are golden, add the peeled tomatoes (drained
the max you can of their juice), the
thyme and bay leaves, salt pepper (a little).
Let the liquid evaporate and then add first the bell peppers,
salt %26amp; pepper ( a little), then 10 minutes after,
the zucchini %26amp; eggplants, salt %26amp; pepper, a little.
You can serve this hot, or very cold as an appetizer
GRILLED VEGETABLES :
4 zucchini
2 eggplants
4 yellow zucchinis
olive oil
thyme, salt %26amp; pepper
In an aluminium foil, put all the vegetables that you would have sliced or diced,
the salt, pepper, thyme and olive oil,
close the foil but leav a little opening, and cook on the barbecue.
Very simple and very tasty. In fact you can do the same proces with any vegetables.
Asparagus and Portobella or wild mushrooms are great like this.
HARD BOILED EGGS :
The cooking time is the same that you cook 1 or 50 eggs.
It's 6 minutes after the boiling point, or 4 1/2 if you like the yokes softer.
And if you want to peel them without damaging the white, put them in very cold water first.
The shell will come smoothly.
GREEN BEANS %26amp; TOMATOES :
Boil or steam the beans for a few minutes.
In a frying pan, put some butter, sliced onions, whole or diced
peeled tomatoes (drained of the juice).
When the liquid you'll get has evaporate a little add the beans, salt and pepper and stir.
Cook on medium heat until the tenderness you like.
EGGPLANTS PUREE :
Grill the whole eggplant on the barbecue until you can peel the skin easily.
In a pot, smash them with olive oil and some whole peeled tomatoes, salt, pepper.
You can also add crushed garlic.
Eat it warm or very cold
BELGIUM ENDIVES :
6 endives
Butter
Salt %26amp; pepper
Boil or steam the endives in water for 5 minutes. Drain them.
In a frying pan, put the butter, the endives very well drained of water, salt and pepper.
Cover them and cook on medium-low heat until cooked as you like your vegetables.
(if the endives are big, you can cut them in half in their lenghts)

Try a fruit only diet for a week. It works wonders. But remember- no milk, tea, coffee, cola or soda, alcohol etc. Just fruits- as many as you like- and plain water.Vegetarian diet?
Well there is a product out, a walmart, targets, and bi lo there is like a vegan deli slices, I eat cajun chicken and its not made out of meat, its made from soy protein and tastes YUMMY. :) well they also have stuff like veggie hotdogs, veggie chille etc.. These products are low in fat too. You can find them in the produce section and in freezers ! GOod luck
Try a raw food diet-I lost 40 pounds in just over 2 months. Just eat lots of raw fruits and veggies. I still do about 80 percent raw, and 20 percent lightly cooked. Homemade sprouts are great, as is juicing. I grow alfalfa, mung, fennungreek, clover, chia, lentils, chickpea and all sorts of other sprouts. They are ready for harvest in 2 or 3 days, and are a fun hobby. You can sprout almonds and sunflower seeds too. They are tasty made into a raw dip or in a tortilla wrap (I use rice tortilla) I juice carrots, celery, parsley, swiss chard, cucumber and apple twice a day, for an energy drink teaming with healthy enzymes. It keeps my digestive track functioning properly, and that it turn causes weight loss. Good luck!
