So what kind of diet do I have to follow to be able to build muscle? what foods are high in protein and are suitable for vegetarians?Any suggestions are appreciated.How can I become lean and toned on a vegetarian diet?
If you want the perfect diet, you must eliminate your simple carbohydrate intake.
Let me explain this,
Your body can burn fat molecules pretty much fine, and not enough people know this. However, it cannot burn simple carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates are split into complex and simple carbohydrates, you get all the carbohydrates you need (complex) in vegetables etc, but the simple ones need to be eliminated.
Simple carbohydrates can only be converted to fat, but this is a type of fat molecule which your body cannot use or burn. Instead of this, it stores it in your liver. But your liver can barely hold any, so the rest is stored in your muscles. Now if you want to build muscle, the last thing you need is a load of unusable fat stored in them, is decreases your performance.
Stop eating all grain containing food, including bread, pasta, wheat containing foods, all types of grains, potatoes, all pastries doughnuts etc and crisps.
Do this for a week, and you will see considerable improvements in your health, including improvement in your muscular strength.

the human body is designed to consume meat to ensure a healthy muscle and organ system.
seeing as you are a vegetarian, try eating lots of carbohydrates, as these release slow energy. just up the intake for example 2 slices of toast at breakfast instead of one!

oh to be so pretty and to starve, what a life style some woman come up with, you can see their bones threw their clothes and their legs look like two slim sticks, and they see that as being pretty and beatiful, how sick this world has become that people starve themselves and become sick sometimes to death even for the sake of being beatiful , and accepted by this hollywood crap of movie stars and such that are no different than anyone else for they too are make of dirt'
tofu is basically a protein block! some people think its disgusting...but i love it. you just have to know how to cook it. you can probably find some good recipes on google.

there are really good soy products at grocery stores and eat veggies low in fat continent and drink lots of grapefruit juice. cut back portions
take some protein shakes
