Do you think you can get all the nourishment you need from a vegetarian diet?

Would you be happy to eat a vegetarian diet for a week?

Thank you..Do you think you can get all the nourishment you need from a vegetarian diet?
Absolutely. As long as you eat as wide a range of foods as possible, and you eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, beans, nuts+seeds, and wholegrains, you can easily get everything your body needs.

For each meal make sure you get a portion of veg, complex carbs, protein and healthy fats. Add in a couple of healthy snakcs like nuts or fruit and you have a perfectly balanced diet.

After a while it won't even take any effort and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

I've been a vegetarian for two years now, and I feel so much better than when I ate meat! People say that you need meat to survive, but that's not true, you just need protein to survive. Meat is a fairly large source of it but along with the protein you get high cholesterol levels and fat, and there are much healthier options for a balanced diet - for example you can get veggie burgers that have had protein put in them when they are made, and the much simpler option of nuts and seeds... my vegan diet is also very healthy, you're essentially cutting out all the dairy in every day life, and dairy is pretty much just fat - for calcium you can buy pills and there are all sorts of other things available also. To sum up, vegetarianism is a much healthier, not to mention cruelty free, life.Do you think you can get all the nourishment you need from a vegetarian diet?
Off course you can. Some people are vegetarian or vegan all their life. Or become vegetarian or vegan at a relatively young age. And they survive. There are many cancers that vegetarians and vegans have a lesser chance of getting, and vegetarians and vegans life expectancies are higher than meat-eaters.

I've been vegan for about seven months and was vegetarian for 3 years before that. I have honestly never been or felt healthier or happier.
Yes. Im vegitarian and i got my blod checked and my levels of everything is normal!

Here is a tasty recipe that is a desert:

2 cups (400 grams) granulated white sugar

2 squares (2 ounces) (60 grams) unsweetened chocolate, chopped

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

2/3 cup (160 ml) half-and-half (or light cream)

2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter, cut into pieces

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extractDo you think you can get all the nourishment you need from a vegetarian diet?
my entire family is vegetarian and i would not change it fr anything.

vegetarian diet is healthy and balanced, it is much less strain on our digestive system.
Yes. I even think you can get all the nutrition you need as a vegan...for a lifetime.

Check out these sites written by doctors.
Of course you can. That's one of the reasons why it is unnecessary for us to eat meat.

I have been happy being a vegetarian for 4 months.
I think you can if you know what to eat. I wouldn't be happy to go vegetarian for a week but I would try it if I had to.
I'm one of the healthiest people I know. I have to admit that the healthiest person I know eats meat once or twice a week but she exercises a lot more than I do.
Been a vegetarian for 15 years now and, yup, can still get a pulse.
Paleo diet or primal diet which are low carb diets have worked the best for me. Google them.
Yes, to both.
I don't think, I know I can, and have done for years
I've been doing it for years now, so yes, pretty sure I can.
No... Given that nature has fashioned all primates as omnivores, and millions of years of evolution cannot be changed in a matter of days..

I would eat vegetarian food in the short term, but not for the rest of my days...

Also, if we were all to live entirely vegetable matter, what kind of effect is all that methane going to have on our atmosphere and environment.? I scarcely bares thinking about.!!
I'm a pescitarian myself and i hvn't had any problems. Infact i'm pretty healthy, more healthy then i was when i ate meat. all u gota do is make sure u get your B12 intake (i have a multivitiman tablet once in a while). i dnt eat fish to often either tho i should haha
