Yes, diet can definitely improve your skin. My bf had kind of bad skin when we met. Since he's been living with me and gone on a no-sugar diet with no processed foods (I'm kind of a health junkie), his skin has improved out of sight. Anything that impacts on your health (like lack of sleep) will show up on your skin; it's just common sense.
I would say: limit sugar, limit saturated fats (animal fats), no trans fats (hydrogenated fats), eat lots of fish (it's full of good omega-3 oil), eat LOTS of fresh fruit and vegetables. in a way it can. after becoming a vegetarian my skin is rarely ever oily but i have lost all the color to my skin it is common amongst quite a few vegetarians i know.
