I am nervous about breaking my vegetarian diet?

I have been eating vegetarian for about 3 months and am considering breaking my 'diet' but am nervous I will get sick if I eat meat. Has anyone had experience or know someone who has had experience coming off a vegetarian dietI am nervous about breaking my vegetarian diet?
Whether you eat meat or not you're still biologically an omnivore, perfectly capable of eating meat and plants. If you go out and bust a gut with a huge steak or greasy BBQ, you might get indigestion. Eat a normal serving of meat, along with some veggies and you'll be fine.
This is a non-issue, for the most part. The only time reintroducing meat into the diet is problematic is if you're vegan or beyond, and have been so for a long period of time.I am nervous about breaking my vegetarian diet?

Try starting really slowly.



Don't feast on the meat. Have a few pieces a day, until you are sure you are okay with meat.
i'd say start with dull meats like chicken or fish. Dont dive into a juicy red steak, but its all in your mind. Meat didnt make u sick before, did it?
Yeah, for a little while you'll get sick. Stomach sick. But why would you go back to eating meat?
