So recently I have become concerned with my diet and would like to become healthy and lean. I would like to begin a vegetarian diet but I do not know where to begin. Please give me advice or anything that I should know before starting a diet such as this one. Are you a vegetarian? How is your vegetarian experience? How can I begin a vegetarian diet?
You should start to try and cut out all meat products out of your diet little by little and you will begin to not see it as appitizing. Then try to put other foods like fruits and viggies in place of the meat. You will become a vegetarian in no time
make sure what you are doing is actually healthy! there is ways of being a vegetarian that are healthy but if you are going to substitute meat with all sorts of chemically enhanced flavours and textures then a vegetarian diet can go bad. a good way to consume protein is through nuts and legumes (beans, lentils, etc) avocado, cheese, eggs and other animal products.
If you really want to become healthy adjust your habits (eating and otherwise), eat organic, don't waste and if you are going to eat eggs and milk make sure they are organic and/or free range sourced.
if you still want to eat meat, decide on wild meats, farm raised organic chicken, free range beef and so on.How can I begin a vegetarian diet?
I became a vegetarian a few months ago. It was a little difficult at first. A lot of my friends weren't supportive but i stuck with it. The hardest part was going out to eat or stopping for fast food. Depending where you live you'll need to find a grocery store that sells vege brands. MY favorite is morning star. The boca burgers are pretty good. Three's faux chicken and beef and sausage. Try that. Make sure you're still getting protein. I still drink milk and eat eggs. I also started this diet to lose a little weight and feel healthier. I also drink protein shakes and eat protein bars. If you really want to try it, don't be discouraged. I slipped up a few times and occasionally i crave meat. But it does get easier. And i do feel healthier :) good luck!!
