How should I reintroduce fish to my current vegetarian diet?

I am 28 years old and have been a vegetarian for half my life. I eat dairy, but no meat. I am thinking about adding fish back into my diet, mainly for health reasons. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I should do this and what type of fish I should start with? How should I reintroduce fish to my current vegetarian diet?
Tuna is a great start, that you can eat at home. When you go out order broiled fish.
I love albacore Tuna. Here is how you do it.

You open the packet, stick in a fork, and grab some. Here is the tricky part...

Open your mouth and put it in.

But that is for those little foil packets that they sell. The real stuff, you have to cook. But fish is easy to cook.

Actually, Tuna and Salmon are just outstanding!

Good luck! How should I reintroduce fish to my current vegetarian diet?
You shouldn't! Despite how often you hear that fish is great for you, it is NOT. It is loaded with horrible things for you like mercury, and fish can feel pain just as acutely as other animals, they have a very complex nervous system. I don't know your reasons for being veg, but if it's for the animals sake I say: NO FISH!

I'd stick with staying pure vegetarian, thats already great by itself! :)
You can really start with any fish, but I would recommend cod. Its tasty!!!!! I am sort of a vegetarian I wont eat most meat mainly anything made of chicken cow or pig. I love turkey though. I couldn't live without it ha ha. ha ha sorry off topic! start slowly. make it a very small part of your meal then if your body will accept the food start eating more VERY slowlyHow should I reintroduce fish to my current vegetarian diet?
im a vegetarian too...but not because animal welfare...i do believe animals are here for us to consume.

it all started when i was pregnant and realized the only foods i could eat that didnt upset my morning sickness were cereal, fruits and veggies...clean lighter colder foods.

after the pregnancy i tried to eat meat again and it felt like rocks hitting the pit of my gut and i was feeling sluggish and sutff. but all my life meat kinda turned me off...bones skin and veins just gross me out and make me hesitant to try new dishes. but if u show me a dish of all veggies, no matter what it looks like i will try it because its either gonna be too spicy salty as with a meat dish might taste bloody rancid or u might crunch down on fat.

so i eat only veggies fruits grains fish and milk. i never liked cheese or eggs so i dont include those.

fish is high in mercury but that will pnly bother you if u eat it like 3 times a day each day.

fish has wonderful amount of omega 3 in it and heart healthy fats you cant find anywhere else.

some low mercury fish are: shrimps, crabs, cod, clams, scallops, light tuna (albacore is very high in mercury), salmon, catish and pollock.

you shouldnt eat fish more than twice a week (which is a bummer for me cuz i could eat bluefish everynight).
