Will a vegetarian diet increase purine content in body and thus provoke gout?

Because mostly vegetarians get their protein from nuts, beans and legumes which contain considerable amount of purine. I'm gradually switching to be a vegetarian and my mom said to watch my nuts and beans consumption.Will a vegetarian diet increase purine content in body and thus provoke gout?

I honestly never heard of a vegetarian with gout. Only meat eaters, usually people who eat a lot of organ meats.Will a vegetarian diet increase purine content in body and thus provoke gout?
