Hello guys !!!
I would like to know your views on a strange question-
Does being non-vegetarian or vegetarian also plays a role in determining the standard or class of a person. Every body's views can be different as each one of us carry a different attitude and ideology .
Is vegetarian diet considered as a part of high class lifestyle or vice-versa?
Global meat consumption is expected to grow 2 percent each year until 2015, especially in developing countries where eating meat is seen as a sign of wealth and prosperity. Half of the world's pork is now eaten in China, while Brazil is the second largest consumer of beef, after the United States.
Neither...Is vegetarian diet considered as a part of high class lifestyle or vice-versa?
I don't think there is any connection between Vegetarianism and class. I don't have any facts or research to back this up and I don't know of any studies that were performed. This is from my own observations and encounters with people.
When I became a vegetarian, I started to take a very active role in my lifestyle. What I wore and ate was very important, as I had a new found respect and compassion towards animals. I also try my very best to refrain from squishing insects also. If I find a cricket in the house, I catch it and put it outside. The same with spiders. I just leave flies and mosquitoes alone.
Though, I also have more of a loathing towards humans for the way they treat animals. I suppose you could call me a misanthrope. It's terrible, but I can't help it anymore. Is vegetarian diet considered as a part of high class lifestyle or vice-versa?
The 2 aren't related.
