Ok. So ive been trying to lose the muffin top here for a while, but i really havent gotten anywhere.
Yes, i admit it. Im lazy.
I will probably be active to for about 15 minuites a day...
So i was wondering if a vegetarian diet would be better off for me.
Yes, Yes. I know i will also have to "get active", but will the whole veggie thing help?Would i lose weight faster on a vegetarian diet?
Very few vegetarians and vegans who do it right are overweight.
You need to be aware of the traps in these diets that you can find in web searches for "vegetarian diet" + "health hazards" and vegan + "health hazards".
i've been a vegetarian for 7 years and that has nothing to do with losing weight. there are plenty of foods that are both vegetarian and bad for you, such as fried foods and cakes. so you can "be vegetarian" and still eat really unhealthy things and in fact gain more weight. now if you were to only eat fruit, veggies, nuts, grains, etc. you would begin to develop better eating habits. that paired with aerobic exercise would help you lose weight. the only way to lose a "muffin top" is to work out and tone your muscles
But if you think that you would be able to be a vegetarian, then i highly recommend it. not only would your health improve now, but you would be improving your future health. you'll live longer, trust me.Would i lose weight faster on a vegetarian diet?
no. When I originally became a vegetarian it was to loose weight.. It didn't really work out for me, until I cracked down and really turned being a vegetarian into my permanent diet on top of exercising regularly. But, I was like you, a little lazy. I set up a 15 minute work out every night, or else in the morning whenever is most convenient, and just monitored what I ate, but still sometimes indulged a little (like a small coffee shake, or small fry from McDonalds) Good luck !
That depends. If you go vege properly and eat lots of fiber, fruit, veges, and lentils yes you will loose weight.
If you go veg on a diet of cheese pizza and pasta covered in cheese--no!
A veg diet, just like any other, can cause you to gain or loose weight depending on how its done.
If you don't exercise, the weight will not stay off.Would i lose weight faster on a vegetarian diet?
Yeah.. As long as you combine it with exercise and having a fast metabolism.
Yes it will help but excercise along with that will be even better
Nope.
