What are the benefits of a vegetarian diet? or veegan diet? or what are the pros and cons of it?

Compared to an ordinary american diet. What type of changes will be noticed if successfully changed eating habits, to a vegetarian or veegam diet?What are the benefits of a vegetarian diet? or veegan diet? or what are the pros and cons of it?
benefits-----

IF you eat more veggies than cheese and breads you can lower cholesterol and weight gain



cons-----

you annoy anyone who wants to eat with you or feed you and restaurants HATE you and if you are too much of a ***** they may secretly spit in your food.

you stess yourself daily over what you can or cant eat, and you stress your friends and family

people find out you are a vegan and send you gross web sites about animal torture all the time to rial you up or to make you join there cause, most of it is gross propaganda

you end up whining and griping about being left out and how hard and nasty it is to eat tofu turkey on holidays



solution......eat mostly veggie diet. for example, eat meats only when someone cooks for you or takes you out to eat or on special occations (thanksgiving) and Do Not fall for all the oh-they-torture-the-turkeys-and-pluck-th鈥?propaganda you hear. in this way you get the best of all worlds. your diet is low in cholesteral and high in fibor and veggies, but you still get some meats for there health benefits occationally and only a few chickens get killed. its their fault really, my opinion, if they didnt taste so good we wouldnt eat them.
Pros: save animals, reduce global warming, healthier diet(lower in fatty foods), save money(if your not a junk veg), feel better emotionally and physically.



Cons: If your not careful you could end up lacking an important part of your diet, such as iron, or protein, or calcium, people can be VERY rude( i'm sure you've noticed from this section I.E. *wicked witch of east*), restaurants may not always cater to being a vegan or vegetarian, you don't get to eat everything you may want.What are the benefits of a vegetarian diet? or veegan diet? or what are the pros and cons of it?

the ordinary american diet is fast food, fat and high cholesterol. fat people who smoke and dont exercise and raise the cost of health care for the rest of us..these same people who are also against health care reform..morons



vegan or vegetarian..low fat, no cholesterol, and really no fast food. they tend to be healthier, weigh less and exercise more. care more about and take more responsibility for their own health and well being.. plus it'll make you feel good emotionally because you wont be contributing to the inhumane mass slaughter of animals.



so..meat eaters = idiots

veggy's = smart
Pros- almost everything- a longer life, a healthier slimmer body, and saving the Earth.

Cons- a dour life denying yourself ice cream, cheese and omelets.What are the benefits of a vegetarian diet? or veegan diet? or what are the pros and cons of it?
PROS: SLOW DOWN GLOBAL WARMING-SAVE LIVES-UR HEALTHIER-REDUCE POLLUTION-HAVE MORE RESPECT TOWARDS THE EARTH
