5' 9" 160ish sometimes I go up a few lbs :/ I want to lose 20 to 30 lbs, preferably 30 lbs. I do have a gym membership, but I am pretty out of shape. What should I eat (on a vegetarian diet/specific veggies and fruits please) and what exercises/weights should I do? I am a girl btw.
Thanks :]I want to lose weight on a vegetarian diet?
Virtually anything grown out of the ground is good for you. Even potatoes as long as you don't add a lot of extra stuff. If you take a potato, and smother it with velveeta cheese then that kind of misses the point of eating the potato. I'm mainly eating green beans, corn, celery, apples, and bananas right now but I'm always trying to find a new health food to add. I don't like salads and I'm new to this thing, too so I'm learning. I've been learning for a few months now. I stick to a 130 calorie per 100g rule and I don't break it. I allow myself to go out to eat about once per week wherever I want and I even go to mcdonald's sometimes. The other 90 % of the week, I eat healthy so it's not a big deal. I don't drink sodas except when I eat out at a restaurant. This plan is working for me so far. When I get hungry, I eat celery or corn or green beans, anything healthy...or apple. I allow myself to eat fruits and vegetables at any hour of the day or night so if I want to eat a banana at 2 am, I do it. I've lost 9 lbs so far. And I don't even exercise. I might eventually start but I'm not exercising so far and this is working.
