Did you have trouble sticking to your diet as a vegetarian?

A lot of people say "Oh it'll be sooo hard!" but I don't find it very hard. Although, there was one time when I first started where I ate my salad dressing later to find out that there were anchovies in it. Disgusting!!!!

Maybe it wasn't a vegetarian diet you were sticking to, maybe it was just a weight-loss, or muscle-gain diet. Tell me about your hardships, or I guess easyships as in my case(:Did you have trouble sticking to your diet as a vegetarian?

Yep. I lasted a think three days as a vegetarian. My brother though has been a veg now for I think 5 years.Did you have trouble sticking to your diet as a vegetarian?
During the first month, it can be tempting to stop, but if you are able to eat healthy for a month, it becomes much easier. You need to watch out for foods that are deliberately addicting. Many companies in the food industry adjust content of sugar, fat, salt, and texture to make their foods addictive. (Dr. David Kessler, former head of the FDA)

I went step by step toward a full plant based diet motivated only by a goal of optimal health:

+ Food combining.

+ No red meat or processed meats like hot dogs and sausages.

+ No meat except fish.

+ No animal flesh.

+ No dairy. (Eat leafy green vegetables in a green smoothie for calcium.)

+ No egg yoke.

+ No egg.

+ Regressing... Added whey powder for protein.

+ No whey protein powder after skin cancer detection. Full vegetarian (vegan)

For optimal health, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Neal Barnard, and Dr. T. Colin Campbell all recommend a full vegetarian diet. Animal protein contributes to the growth of cancers and this also contributes to health issues associated with osteoporosis, heart disease, and diabetes. Vegans live an estimated 7-10 years longer than those people eating the standard American diet (SAD). My personal experience is that I feel more alert and alive since switching over completely.
I was born in a vegetarian family. No hardship for me.
