Can a vegetarian diet cause you to breakout?

i started being a vegetarian a couple weeks ago and after that ive all of a sudden started breaking out alot. could the vegetarian diet be the cause of this? Can a vegetarian diet cause you to breakout?
are you consuming too much dairy? because once i cut out all dairy, my face completely cleared. But everyones body works differently. best of luck!
I would say - Yes. I've noticed skin problems with vegetarian dieters. It could be related to being allergic to some of the foods on this type of diet.

Wheat and Soy can both be highly allergenic foods. In fact, vegetarian diets can be much too high in phytic acid which blocks a lot of minerals.

Not getting enough protein or the proper protein will also cause many problems. There are plant foods that offer more digestible protein and other important nutrients. Can a vegetarian diet cause you to breakout?
It could be a component of your new diet. Are you eating more fried foods, or oil-based meals? A vegetarian diet in itself should be extremely healthy, but you do have to pay some attention to the nutrients you're getting. Do some on-line research and check with a medical professional (your school nurse or a nutritionist if you're out of school.) Good luck to you.
Any change in health and diet will cause your body to react in different ways. But as soon as you get used to it so will your body. I suggest that you buy a couple of cleansing/relaxing masks buy some food that you like (vegetarian of course) such as cookies ice cream etc. and your break out will be gone. :]Can a vegetarian diet cause you to breakout?
Actualy no... The diet should be better for your skin. I used to be like a pizza face before i started the vegan diet. My skin is better than its ever been. Mabe its just you body getting used to the change in diet
It could be your body's transition into the new diet, and your face getting rid of toxins.

Hopefully it will clear up for you shortly.
